System Maintenance and Repair of Frequency Converter
Proper equipment operation requires regular maintenance. Standard maintenance procedures include: daily inspections, scheduled maintenance, and long-term storage maintenance.
Routine inspections include monitoring unit status, voltage, and temperature readings, along with tracking transformer temperature rise, analyzing voltage/current and operational curves, and monitoring the variable frequency drive system's performance. Additionally, our company provides a' black box' shutdown waveform recording feature to assist users and manufacturers in diagnosing protection system triggers.
Regular inspections: Check for loose secondary terminal connections and tighten them promptly. Inspect circuit terminals for poor contact and verify copper connectors for heat marks. Examine cables for damage, particularly at metal-contact points. Clean filters every half to one month, dry-type transformers every six months, and thoroughly clear dust from circuit board air vents using a vacuum cleaner whenever possible.
When comparing parking durations of variable frequency speed control systems, special attention must be paid to conducting thorough inspections. First, check for moisture, rust, corrosion, or discharge contaminants. If moisture is detected, use a portable electric heater to dry the equipment for at least 8 hours. Next, inspect the equipment and perform a complete cleaning. The most critical step is system reactivation. Due to prolonged storage, the control system should be activated in advance by powering on the unit and the entire machine for a period of hot standby.
Medium and low voltage frequency converters are widely used in industries such as metallurgy, mining, petroleum, textiles, papermaking, and printing and packaging.
The application cases of high voltage frequency conversion are mainly concentrated in belt conveyor, hoist, ball mill, slurry mill, fine mill, high voltage fan and water pump, etc.
